With the latest twin turbo diesel engine, the updated version of Volvo S80 is sure to boost the sales of the car. Volvo India launched the refreshed S80 for the Indian market.
The major updation in S80 is the high performing twin turbo diesel engine. With some other safety features and value addition the new Volvo S80 is available at Rs. 37 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Engine: New Volvo S80 comes with the latest generation D5 twin-turbo diesel engine with a 2.4 litre diesel capacity. This engine yields 205 hp and 420 Nm of torque which adds to the superior on road performance of the latest launched car from Volvo India. Being Euro 5 compliant, Volvo S80's D5 twin-turbo diesel engine also promises of better fuel efficiency. The engine has a fuel efficiency figure of 13.09 kpl.
